Welcome to the Music Page at Holy Family Parish, in historic Concord, Massachusetts! The parish’s music tradition has been renowned since its founding in 1863. The church houses an E. & G.G. Hook & Hastings pipe organ (Opus 812.) The instrument was built and installed in the organ loft in 1875. In 2017, Holy Family purchased a beautifully reconditioned 1915 Steinway 6′ 11′ mahogany grand piano. Approximately ten years ago, the church purchased a two-octave set of Schulmerich Handbells. A few years later, the Handbell Choir expanded to three octaves.
Currently, there are eight professional musicians on staff–five cantors (leaders of song) and three organists/pianists. To find out more about them and to see pictures, please click on the link below.
The Parish has three choirs — the Children’s Choir, the Handbell Choir, and the Parish Choir. For more information on any of the choirs, please click on the appropriate link below.
A number of instrumentalists from the congregation grace our liturgies with prelude and offertory offerings from time to time. If you are interested in playing during worship, please click on the link below.
